Before you apply.

Do I need any fitness experience? +
None at all. Strong After 50 is designed to start from scratch. Whether you've never trained before or haven't been to a gym in years, the programme meets you exactly where you are. No assumptions, no comparisons.
I have joint issues / old injuries — is this suitable? +
This is one of the most common concerns for the over-50s — and one of the reasons we do a movement analysis before the programme starts. Training is adapted to work around existing issues, not ignore them. If you've been cleared for exercise by your GP, Strong After 50 is suitable for you.
What if I can't make all 5 sessions every week? +
Life happens — and the programme accounts for that. Missing the occasional session won't set you back. Most people find they can make 3–4 sessions a week comfortably, and the results still come. Consistency over 6 weeks matters more than perfect attendance.
Will I be with people my own age? +
Yes — that's the whole point. Every person in a Strong After 50 cohort is over 50. Same stage of life, same challenges, same goals. The community that builds as a result is one of the things people mention most when they talk about the programme.
What happens after the 6 weeks? +
Most Strong After 50 members continue their training at MFF after the course — through TRX Memberships or moving into Spartan16. The 6 weeks gives you a foundation and a confidence that most people want to build on. We'll talk through your options as you get towards the end of the programme.
